  TT and Tri Extension Shifter Set:
  • Shift switches to be used in conjunction with ST-7971 TT aero levers which can be located on the aero extensions as a replacement for traditional mechanical bar end shifters.
  • These switches now give the added option of being able to operate the gears from either the aero extension or the aero ST-7971 brake lever previously not possible on a TT set up.
  • Brake levers are lightweight thanks to aero carbon fibre lever blades, carbon composite bracket body, and alloy fixings.
  • Brake lever pivot is positioned to increase power in combination with BR-7900 brake callipers.
  TT and Tri Shift / Brake Levers ST-7971:
  • Simply pressing tactile buttons allows effortless and comfortable shifting even when your hands are cold.
  • Shift switches are located in an ergonomic easy to reach position on the side of the aero brake lever.
  • This switch positioning now gives the added advantage of being able to quickly shift while braking into corners and accelerating out previously not possible on a TT set up.

  Rear Derailleur:
  • Carbon fibre pulley cage.
  • Servo driven motion rather than spring action giving identical and precise shifting.
  • Built-in crash mechanism which allows movement in the event of a crash.

  Front Derailleur:
  • This contains the brains of the system, the compact CPU is housed here. The front derailleur tracks the chain position and trims automatically - requires no manual trim.
  • Small to big ring changes are barely detectable with a smooth pedalling input, even on a climb.
  • Braze-on front derailleur supplied, band-on adapters available separately.

  Battery pack:
  • Model: SM-BTR1-A. Li-Ion battery with 1-1.5 hours quick charge.
  • 7.4V rechargeable lithium ion battery - easily mounted to the frame and removed for charging.
  • Claimed to last up to 625 miles with frequent use, battery will hold its charge for months.
  • Gives a low reading when a charge is needed.
