2/3 of aerodynamic drag comes from the rider, and only 1/3 from your bike. So even small gains here can make a big difference. In fact, testing shows that this jersey saves 9 watts when riding with your hands on the hoods at 40 km/h.

The fit should be very close to the body, but you shouldn't feel that it compresses or restricts movement. If you have any fabric flapping when you're in the riding position, you should go down a size. The general rule is to take the same size as you take in the Team Jersey, and the Aero Race will fit you fine.
